Job Summary:

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR File Clerk to join our team. As an HR File Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining and organizing all employee files, ensuring accurate and timely data entry into our HRIS system, and providing administrative support to the human resources team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and organize all employee files, both active and inactive, in a secure and confidential manner.
  • Perform data entry into our HRIS system, including new hire documentation, training and compliance records, and personnel files.
  • Provide administrative support to the human resources team, including running background checks, following up with managers on missing paperwork, and monitoring and maintaining the HR email inbox.
  • Assist with regular file audits for compliance purposes and follow up with management staff as needed for file completeness.
  • Perform general office clerical duties, such as answering phones, preparing materials for new employee orientation, and opening and distributing mail.
  • Create and print employee badges and maintain inventory of basic office supplies.
  • Interact with employees, management staff, and public and private agencies as appropriate and within Sea Mar policy and legal guidelines.
  • Maintain high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and information.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have high ethical standards, confidentiality, and cultural competence.
  • General computer skills are required, and experience with basic Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, and HRIS applications is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented and organized required.
  • Must have a valid WA State driver's license.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
