Laborer Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laborer Representative to join our team at Emcor Inc. As a Laborer Representative, you will play a critical role in assisting other crafts and jobsite personnel in construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in flagging, Firewatch, confined space attendant, labor support, and housekeeping activities.
  • Work collaboratively with other crafts and jobsite personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide support in maintaining a safe and organized jobsite environment.
  • Assist in the implementation of quality control measures to ensure high-quality workmanship.

Requirements:

  • Current TWIC Card
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Demands:

  • Significant and sustained periods of standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting
  • Use of arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, controls, and tools
  • Lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50lbs
  • Working at heights, climbing ladders and stairways, and working off of platforms
  • Use of vision abilities to focus, see short and long distances, colors, depth perception, and peripheral vision
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions and for extended periods of time
  • Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves, and steel-toe boots
