Position Overview:
Mines is in search of a Manager of Administrative Operations within the President's Office.

In this role, you will report directly to the Chief of Staff and will be responsible for overseeing the management of operational processes, administrative duties, and communication strategies within the office.

As the Manager, you will handle financial oversight and strategic planning for all resources managed by the President's Office, working closely with the Chief of Staff to ensure alignment with financial objectives.

Your responsibilities will also include leading office communications across various channels, ensuring that our messaging effectively engages our diverse audience.

This position is crucial for the seamless functioning of the office, which includes managing front desk operations and acting as the main point of contact for both internal stakeholders and external visitors.

You will coordinate university events, support initiatives from the President's Office, and contribute to special projects that advance our institutional goals.

Working both independently and collaboratively, you will frequently interact with university leadership, students, faculty, donors, corporate partners, and community representatives.

Essential qualities for success in this role include maintaining confidentiality, clear and professional communication, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Our campus provides a dynamic environment where you can make a significant impact during standard business hours, with occasional flexibility for evening and weekend commitments as necessary.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Oversight: Manage and supervise all funds under departmental control, analyze budgetary trends, and collaborate with the Chief of Staff on financial planning.
  • Office Coordination: Oversee departmental operations and serve as the primary liaison for the President's Office suite.
  • Communication Management: Prepare, review, and oversee communications for the President's Office, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
  • Event Coordination: Lead or assist in organizing various events, including meetings and special occasions.
Minimum Qualifications:
A BA/BS degree or equivalent progressive administrative experience in a professional environment.
3+ years of experience in supporting high-level operations and budget management.
Experience in budget oversight within a complex organization.
Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Pro, and various web platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary and Benefits:
$67,000 - $73,300.
