HYBRID – If you reside within 50 miles of Chamberlain University offices, this role is hybrid, requiring office presence three days a week (Tue, Wed, Thu), with the remainder of the workweek conducted remotely.

Position Overview

The Senior Licensing & Accreditation Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring that all educational institutions and business units comply with state, federal, and accreditor regulations by securing and maintaining the necessary approvals to operate, confer degrees, and recruit in all relevant jurisdictions. This position also provides guidance to each institution within Adtalem regarding regulatory policies, standards, processes, and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Execute all functions of the analyst as required. Collaborate with relevant business stakeholders to collect data and materials essential for completing applications and reports. Guarantee compliant and timely submission of all pertinent application documents. Maintain all relevant databases and resources necessary for assigned tasks. Analyze institutional implications of current and proposed regulations, present findings to leadership, and recommend solutions. Engage in special projects as needed and perform related duties as assigned. May mentor new colleagues based on experience. Responsible for maintaining up-to-date regulatory heat maps. Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Support the evaluation of new institutional initiatives requiring regulatory approvals and help prioritize the workflow to secure those approvals. Aid the Manager in assessing the institutional implications of current or proposed regulations. Perform additional duties as assigned. Adhere to all policies and standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a regulated environment; required. Experience in higher education licensing or accreditation preferred. Proficient in gathering and analyzing various data types and communicating information effectively. Self-motivated individual capable of completing projects and tasks on or ahead of schedule with minimal supervision. Strong computing skills and experience with Microsoft Office software required. Excellent organizational, oral and written communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. Strong work ethic. Exceptional proofreading abilities. Ability to engage with senior leadership and external agencies professionally. Writing samples required.

Additional Information

In alignment with pay transparency laws, the expected salary range for this position is between $49,199 and $86,253. Actual compensation will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, including experience, training, geographic location, licensure, certifications, market factors, departmental budgets, and responsibilities.
