Job Summary
The Senior Licensing & Accreditation Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that all institutions and business units are in compliance with state, federal, and accreditor requirements by obtaining and maintaining approval to operate, grant degrees, and recruit in all applicable jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all roles of the analyst as needed.
- Work with appropriate business owners to gather data elements and required materials necessary to complete all applications and reports.
- Ensure compliant and timely submission of all relevant application materials.
- Maintain all relevant databases and resource materials required to perform assigned tasks.
- Review and assess institutional implications of current and proposed regulations, present analysis to leaders, and propose solutions.
- Participate in special assignments on an as-needed basis and perform related duties as assigned.
- May be assigned to mentor a new colleague, depending on experience.
- Responsible for maintaining relevant regulatory heat maps.
- Lead multiple complex projects concurrently.
- Assist with developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with the assessment of new institutional initiatives that require regulatory approvals and help prioritize the work stream to obtain those approvals.
- Assist Manager in assessing institutional implications of current/proposed/new regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- 4 years of previous work experience in a federal/state regulated environment; required.
- Experience in higher education licensing or accreditation preferred.
- Experience gathering and analyzing various types of data and communicating information in a variety of prescribed forms required.
- Motivated self-starter who can consistently complete projects and assigned tasks on or ahead of schedule with little to no supervision.
- General computing skills and experience using Microsoft Office software required.
- Excellent organizational, oral and written communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Superb proof-reading skills.
- Ability to interact with senior leadership and outside agencies in a professional manner.
- Writing samples required.
