Position Overview

The Senior Licensing and Accreditation Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring that all educational institutions and business units comply with relevant state, federal, and accreditor regulations. This position is responsible for obtaining and maintaining the necessary approvals to operate, confer degrees, and recruit in all applicable jurisdictions. The Senior Analyst also provides guidance on regulatory policies, standards, and procedures to support each institution within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Execute all analyst functions as required. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to gather essential data and materials for applications and reports. Ensure timely and compliant submission of all application materials. Maintain databases and resources necessary for task execution. Analyze the institutional impact of current and proposed regulations, presenting findings to leadership and recommending solutions. Participate in special projects as needed and perform related duties as assigned. Mentor new team members based on experience and expertise. Maintain up-to-date regulatory heat maps. Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Support the assessment of new initiatives requiring regulatory approvals and prioritize workflows accordingly. Aid management in evaluating the implications of existing and proposed regulations. Perform additional duties as assigned. Adhere to all organizational policies and standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree is required. A Master's Degree is preferred. A minimum of 4 years of experience in a regulated environment is required. Experience in higher education licensing or accreditation is preferred. Proficiency in gathering and analyzing data and communicating findings effectively is essential. A self-motivated individual capable of completing projects independently and efficiently. Strong computing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required. Excellent organizational, communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills are essential. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are crucial. Ability to engage with senior leadership and external agencies professionally. Writing samples may be requested.

Additional Information

In alignment with pay transparency regulations, the expected salary range for this position is between $49,199 and $86,253. Actual compensation will be adjusted based on job-related factors such as experience, training, geographic location, and departmental budgets.
