Breg, Inc., a leading distributor of orthopedic durable medical equipment and healthcare solutions, is seeking a Sales Representative. This role involves collaborating with a dedicated team of sales and service professionals while also engaging directly with clients in Central Illinois.

We aim to recruit a seasoned sales professional to enhance our current team. The preferred candidate should reside in the region and possess relevant business experience.

The Sales Representative will report to a senior sales representative and will be responsible for traveling to various clinics, offices, hospitals, and surgical centers to promote and sell our innovative products and solutions. Additionally, this role includes account management and patient service duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of achieving or surpassing sales targets within the designated territory.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their business needs.
  • Identify customer challenges and propose effective solutions from Breg's extensive product portfolio to enhance quality and reduce costs in orthopedic care.
  • Provide expert knowledge of products.
  • Manage, plan, and execute account management activities effectively.
  • Engage in extensive travel throughout the assigned territory.
  • Measure and fit patients with Breg products, complete necessary documentation for insurance claims, and handle Protected Health Information in strict compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Identify and evaluate potential accounts and opportunities for growth.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated success in a medical sales position, with regular interactions with healthcare providers, is highly preferred; B2B sales or consulting experience is also acceptable.
  • Experience in orthopedic, sports medicine, or surgical sales is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including web browsing, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to learn new software and systems is essential.
  • Candidates must reside in the Central Illinois area.

Compensation:

  • Base salary ranging from $40,000 to $50,000, plus commission.
