About the Role

The Sales and Marketing Representative will be based out of our Allen, TX location, driving sales and marketing efforts to increase profitable sales through creating, building, and maintaining high-quality relationships with new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Marketing Efforts: Utilize company digital tools and products to connect with consumers, develop creative solutions, generate sales volume, and provide the highest level of customer service.
  • Product Promotion: Effectively communicate the features and benefits of our product offering to customers.
  • Business Development: Increase business by generating sales to new customers and by selling additional products to existing customers.
  • Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain customer relationships, learn and evaluate customer operations to aid in identifying customer objectives, requirements, and preferences.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with leadership, team members, and suppliers in planning, tracking, and implementing sales strategies and developing new markets.
  • Customer Support: Assist customers with product selection and application, utilizing knowledge, internal specialists, as well as supplier representatives.
  • Communication: Collaborate with customers and team members for product quotations and provide ongoing communication throughout the customer's purchasing lifecycle.
  • Problem-Solving: Work with management, credit, and customers to resolve payment issues promptly.
  • Market Research: Gather and report to management information regarding the company, competitors, pricing, products, and current and future market.
  • Professional Development: Actively participate in professional development to improve professional selling skills and maintain technical capabilities.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely records, including sales call schedules and expense reports.
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate sales calls with vendors to introduce and demonstrate products, identify customer needs, and promote product and service solutions.
  • Digital Tools: Utilize and champion digital tools, customer solutions, and services to gain a competitive advantage.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 3+ years of sales or electrical industry experience.
  • Skills: Ability to exhibit a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude with customers, customer-oriented and motivated with excellent communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge: Product and application knowledge essential.
  • Software: Familiar with Microsoft Office as well as relevant ERP systems and Customer Relation Management Tools (CRM).
