Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at Cook Group. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating manufacturing processes for medical device products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Operations Managers and external vendors to develop and implement efficient manufacturing methods and machines to increase product capacity.
  • Work with Product Development Engineers to design and implement processes for new products, ensuring timely and cost-effective production.
  • Partner with Operations, Accounting, and Global Product Managers to identify and implement opportunities to increase profit margins for underperforming products.
  • Train and educate relevant personnel on new processes and procedures, ensuring seamless adoption and implementation.
  • Document and track cost savings, providing regular updates to management.
  • Develop and execute validation protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that all projects adhere to established design controls and quality standards.
  • Support the calibration department in developing and performing calibration procedures.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Product Development to verify and validate critical processes and products.
  • Work with vendors to source discontinued or changed materials, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation, including project timelines, justifications, and budget forecasts.
  • Act as a resource for operational departments, providing guidance on materials, equipment, and process upgrades.
  • Work to transfer intra-Cook company products into operations, ensuring smooth integration and minimal disruption.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
