Your Opportunity
Join our team as a Manufacturing Process Engineer, where you will spearhead the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles within our production facilities.

Your Responsibilities
As a key member of our engineering team, you will:

  • Focus on achieving our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze workstations to mitigate work-related injuries.
  • Support the implementation of 5S methodologies.
  • Introduce PokaYoke solutions utilizing electric tools and operator guidance systems.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for process standardization and provide training for new operators.
  • Identify automation projects aimed at enhancing safety, quality, and delivery.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving our Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO 9001 certification.
  • Design flexible production setups and tools for assembling diverse products.
  • Conduct root cause analyses to minimize rework and ensure equipment maintenance to prevent line stoppages.

Project Involvement
Participate in project team meetings to ensure effective design for assembly of new products. You will:

  • Prepare line setups, including tooling and equipment, for new product integration.
  • Perform Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to optimize line performance.
  • Define new working instructions for operators and provide necessary training.
  • Validate and enhance prototypes.
  • Contribute to the Kaizen and Innovation Process.

Market Insights
Stay ahead of industry trends by benchmarking competitors and exploring new technologies that can enhance quality and cost leadership.

Collaboration and Leadership
Foster collaboration across divisions to build a robust supplier base and contribute to teams focused on improving quality and cost efficiency. You will:

  • Lead visual management initiatives to encourage operator input.
  • Create best practices by formalizing assembly knowledge.
  • Engage actively in the execution of the master plan project.

Process Definition
Ensure that manufacturing processes and facilities are thoroughly defined and aligned with production output plans, adhering to the Vacuum Technique Production Systems roadmap.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Process Engineering with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical knowledge of vacuum pumps, compressors, engines, and electric panels is advantageous.
  • A solid understanding of lean manufacturing concepts and automation trends, including Industry 4.0.
  • Experience with IT tools such as line balancing software, ERP systems, and factory setup.
  • Fluency in English, as it is our internal communication language.
