Job Overview

ImOn Communications has been the preferred provider for high-speed Internet, cable television, and telecommunication services in Eastern Iowa since its inception. As we continue to expand our fiber network across various communities, we are seeking a Business Account Manager to enhance our client engagement.

The Business Account Manager is responsible for nurturing and developing relationships with designated business clients.

The primary objective of the Account Manager is to oversee the client experience, ensuring it surpasses expectations and minimizes client turnover. The Account Manager will represent the complete suite of ImOn's business products and services to their assigned clientele while gaining insights into their business strategies and ensuring their requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with key stakeholders in assigned client accounts.
  • Assist in achieving assigned targets for sales growth and account objectives.
  • Continuously assess, clarify, and validate client needs.
  • Develop and implement renewal strategies for each assigned client as their current commitments conclude.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments within ImOn, including Sales, Customer Care, Engineering, Provisioning, Project Management, and Accounting, to address client needs.
  • Enhance and maintain relevant product and industry knowledge as directed by the company.
  • Create and execute a consistent referral strategy from the assigned client base to introduce new business opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed company goals related to client retention rates.
  • Support and achieve assigned revenue growth objectives.
  • Fulfill weekly and monthly activity targets.
  • Complete client account plans that align with company expectations.
  • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction that meet company standards.
  • Fulfill training and development requirements within designated timeframes.
  • Timely completion and submission of required reports, ensuring quality standards are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Administration, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in account management within a business-to-business sales or service environment.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and MS Office suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective presentation, negotiation, and closing abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational, strategic planning, and time management skills, with a strong sense of urgency and a high level of customer service.
  • Self-motivated individual driven by results.
  • Able to foster internal relationships to promote teamwork.
  • Passionate about delivering an outstanding client experience.

  • Familiarity with the telecommunications sector.
