Position Overview:
We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced VP Global Controller to become a vital part of our executive leadership team.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage all facets of our global financial operations, which encompasses corporate accounting, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Additionally, you will be responsible for formulating and executing financial policies and procedures to ensure adherence to GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.


Key Responsibilities:
As the VP Global Controller, your duties will include:

  • Supervising all corporate accounting activities, including general ledger management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax obligations.
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, federal, and international reporting requirements and tax submissions.
  • Coordinating the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance reports.
  • Generating and disseminating timely monthly financial statements.
  • Overseeing the preparation of regulatory reports.
  • Investigating technical accounting issues to ensure compliance.
  • Maintaining quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
  • Documenting and developing business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.
  • Managing the annual financial audit process in collaboration with external auditors.
  • Presenting financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients during formal meetings.
  • Keeping abreast of technological advancements and accounting software relevant to financial operations.
  • Establishing and upholding financial policies and procedures for the organization.
  • Understanding and complying with financial regulations and legislation.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or professional certification (such as CPA, CMA, or CGMA) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in a senior financial management role, ideally within the finance sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
  • Strong expertise in financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Proficient in MS Office and financial management software.
  • An analytical mindset with strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience with GAAP, financial reporting, annual audits, and financial statements.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and navigate ambiguity and complexity effectively.
  • Capable of executing tasks and ensuring thorough documentation.
