Position Overview:
We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced VP Global Controller to become a vital part of our executive leadership team.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee all facets of our global financial management, which encompasses corporate accounting, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Your responsibilities will also include the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to ensure adherence to GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.


Key Responsibilities:
As the VP Global Controller, your duties will include:

  • Supervising all corporate accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax obligations.
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, federal, and international reporting requirements and tax submissions.
  • Coordinating the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance reports.
  • Generating and publishing timely monthly financial statements.
  • Managing the preparation of regulatory reports.
  • Investigating technical accounting issues to ensure compliance.
  • Maintaining quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
  • Documenting business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.
  • Overseeing the annual financial audit process in collaboration with external auditors.
  • Presenting financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients during formal meetings.
  • Keeping abreast of technological advancements and accounting software for financial purposes.
  • Establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures for the organization.
  • Understanding and complying with financial regulations and legislation.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or professional certifications (such as CPA, CMA, or CGMA) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in a senior financial management role, ideally within the finance sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
  • Strong expertise in financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and financial management software.
  • An analytical mindset with strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience with GAAP, financial reporting, annual audits, and financial statements.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and navigate ambiguity and complexity.
  • Capability to execute tasks and follow through to completion with proper documentation.
