Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced VP Global Controller to become a vital part of our executive leadership team.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage all facets of our global financial operations, which includes corporate accounting, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

You will lead the development and execution of financial policies and procedures to ensure adherence to GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.


Key Responsibilities:
As the VP Global Controller, your duties will include:

  • Overseeing all corporate accounting activities, such as general ledger management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax obligations.
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, federal, and international reporting requirements and tax submissions.
  • Coordinating the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance reports.
  • Generating and distributing timely monthly financial statements.
  • Managing the preparation of regulatory reports.
  • Researching technical accounting matters to ensure compliance.
  • Maintaining quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
  • Documenting business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.
  • Overseeing the annual financial audit process in collaboration with external auditors.
  • Presenting financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients during formal meetings.
  • Keeping abreast of technological advancements and accounting software for financial management.
  • Establishing and upholding financial policies and procedures for the organization.
  • Understanding and complying with financial regulations and legislation.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or professional certifications (such as CPA, CMA, or CGMA) is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a senior financial management role, ideally within the finance sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
  • Strong expertise in financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and financial management software.
  • An analytical mindset with strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with GAAP, financial reporting, and annual audits.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and navigate ambiguity and complexity.
  • A commitment to execution and thorough documentation.
