Crisis Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
As a Crisis Support Specialist, you will:
1. Triage incoming calls to the Lifeline and gather essential information from callers.
2. Conduct assessments and coordinate appropriate interventions as necessary.
3. De-escalate situations with callers in distress over the phone.
4. Develop and implement realistic safety plans, ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
5. Maintain knowledge of community resources to assist callers effectively.
6. Document all interactions accurately and thoroughly.
Work Environment:
This position is primarily remote, with the expectation of in-office attendance as needed after training. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts, with additional pay for overnight work.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Must pass a background check.
- Valid Montana Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Proof of auto liability insurance coverage as per company policy.
- One year of relevant experience in human services is preferred.
