Role Responsibilities:

As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will:
  1. Manage incoming crisis calls and gather essential information from callers.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments and coordinate appropriate interventions.
  3. Utilize de-escalation techniques to assist callers in distress.
  4. Develop and implement realistic safety plans, ensuring follow-up as necessary.
  5. Maintain knowledge of community resources to provide effective support.
  6. Document all interactions accurately and comprehensively.

Work Environment:

This position allows for remote work following training, with the expectation of occasional in-office attendance when required. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays will be part of the role. Additional compensation is available for overnight shifts.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to pass a background check.
  • Proof of auto liability insurance as per company policy.
  • A valid Montana Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Preferred experience of at least one year in a related human services role.
