- Facilitate three nutritious meals daily and ensure cleanliness in shared spaces.
- Assist in medication distribution as needed.
- Evaluate and address challenges affecting residents' independence and community integration.
- Support residents in improving their communication skills.
- Implement effective strategies for managing symptoms.
- Build and maintain social support networks for residents.
- Provide immediate crisis intervention and respond to the 24-hour crisis line.
- Customize skills training based on individual needs related to home, work, education, and social activities.
- Ensure compliance with the transitional treatment plan established by management.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
- Engage in verbal communication with clients and perform physical tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a supervised environment with individuals facing severe mental health challenges.
- College-level coursework in mental health or psychology is advantageous.
- Ability to lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Strong vision capabilities, including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, along with excellent concentration skills.
- Regular attendance is essential for this position.
