Job Description

Mavega Group is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced quantitative models to optimize portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Model Development: Design and implement complex statistical models to analyze market trends and optimize investment decisions.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the management of client portfolios, ensuring that investment strategies are aligned with client goals and risk tolerance.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify investment opportunities and risks, and provide recommendations to clients.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate complex financial information to clients and stakeholders, and provide regular portfolio performance updates.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the investment team to develop and implement investment strategies.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as economics, mathematics, statistics, or finance. A master's or doctoral degree is preferred.
  • Experience: At least X years of experience in quantitative finance, preferably as a portfolio manager or in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB, and other relevant tools and technologies.
  • Certifications: CFA, FRM, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
