Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Portfolio Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our community associations. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with board members, homeowners, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage annual budgets for review by the board of directors
    • Oversee the collection of monthly assessments from residents, including lien and legal notices
  • Community Operations
    • Coordinate and attend meetings, including weeknight meetings
    • Prepare and present agendas, management reports, and board packets
    • Research issues and present recommendations to the board of directors
  • Vendor Management
    • Direct activities of association contractors, including maintenance, janitorial, guard, and landscaping staff
    • Provide authorization for payment of invoices in accordance with the management contract
  • Community Relations
    • Maintain good public relations and interact with clients, customers, and co-workers in a positive, respectful, and professional manner
    • Investigate resident disturbances, violations, or complaints, and resolve problems in accordance with regulations established by the board of directors

Requirements

  • CMCA certification is preferred or must be willing to pursue upon hire
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with board members, homeowners, and vendors
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to perform and/or manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities concurrently
