Position Overview:
The Chief Executive Officer oversees the strategic direction and operational management of the community.

This role encompasses accountability for financial planning and management, alongside all aspects of community services, including client relations, hospitality, nutrition, wellness, and environmental management.

The CEO ensures the harmonious integration of exceptional living standards, hospitality, and a dedication to comprehensive care and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fosters, implements, and nurtures a culture of wellness, collaboration, and respect for both residents and staff.
  • In collaboration with corporate and community leadership, recruits, retains, and mentors a team of healthcare, hospitality, and administrative professionals.
  • Partners with leaders from other communities to establish and execute streamlined and consistent operational processes across the organization.
  • Oversees community financials, including labor benchmarks and operational expenses, comprehends and manages profit-loss statements, optimizes revenue, and controls costs.
  • Collaborates with the Senior Living Consultant to meet revenue and occupancy targets.
  • Assists the Director of Health and Wellness in areas related to finance, human resources, and customer service.
  • Works closely with culinary leadership to guarantee superior quality and outstanding service in dining areas.
  • Addresses elevated resident or guest concerns to uphold the highest standards of customer service.
  • Coordinates with fellow community leaders to plan and manage special events.
  • Conducts inspections of community services, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and other legal requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Currently licensed as a Licensed Assisted Living Director in the state of Minnesota, or the ability to obtain necessary credentials.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, hospitality management, finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a customer-focused leadership role.
  • Previous experience in senior living services is advantageous.

  • Proven ability to manage budgets, profit and loss statements, enhance revenue, and control expenses.
  • Strong commitment to customer service and the wellbeing of team members and residents.
  • Exceptional leadership and management capabilities, including effective relationship building, business insight, and communication skills.
  • Exhibits a high degree of initiative, creativity, sound judgment, and professional ethics.
  • Possesses strong organizational skills, with experience in negotiation and achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.
