Job Summary

Post Consumer Brands is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Analytics Intern to assist in various projects and operations support roles in the Marketing department. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing consumer analytics and reporting to support cross-functional partners
  • Analyze marketplace performance to discover insights used to help meet Post Consumer Brands business goals
  • Create compelling, fact-based stories using syndicated sales data, household panel data, shopper card data, and other consumer research
  • Help maintain integrity and structure of various databases
  • Present findings and plan recommendations to Marketing Leadership Team, including the Chief Marketing Officer

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree in Marketing or Analytics at an institution with an accredited program
  • Proven leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • A high level of competence in computer applications and the ability to use technology as a decision-support tool
  • Experience with syndicated data preferred
  • Ability to identify and evaluate tactical methods to achieve objectives, identify deviations from the plan, and facilitate resolution
  • Ability to handle confidential information and use discretion within and outside of the organization
  • Previous internship or work experience strongly preferred
  • Interest in the consumer packaged goods/manufacturing industry with a desire to start a career with Post Consumer Brands after graduation strongly preferred
