Construction Management Specialist II

Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) is seeking a highly skilled Construction Management Specialist II to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with plans and specifications, managing quality control, and overseeing construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Verify elevations and coordinates of installed work or staking against construction drawings.
- Attend construction-related meetings, document attendance, and provide meeting notes.
- Oversee quality control of contractors' work and safety for the construction project.
- Assist Reclamation field staff with quality control and safety measures.
- Proficient in understanding specifications, drawings, and contract-related engineering documents.
- Experience with earthwork activities, concrete activities, and industry best management practices.
- Proficient in OSHA and Reclamation Safety and Health Standards (RSHS) regulations.
- Excellent communication and written documentation skills.
The job is performed on active construction sites with exposure to various weather conditions, as well as in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system.
Supervisory Responsibilities:Depending on workload, supervision of additional quality control employees or subcontracted QC employees may be required.
Additional Qualifying Factors:As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and periodic random drug screenings, have acceptable reference and background check results, and reliable transportation to/from work.
