Position Overview:

The Culinary Preparation Specialist plays a vital role in the kitchen by preparing ingredients, organizing workstations, and maintaining kitchen supplies and inventory to support the food and beverage operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking tools.
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables and cutting meats.
  • Adhere to recipes for food preparation using various techniques and utensils.
  • Ensure appealing presentation of dishes prior to serving.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment.
  • Properly store all food and kitchen items.
  • Assess the quality of ingredients used.
  • Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed.
  • Assist in keeping all restaurant areas, including kitchens, prep zones, dining spaces, and restrooms, clean and tidy.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a culinary preparation role.
  • Willingness to support team members as required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with guests and colleagues.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • Positive attitude while performing duties.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
