Treasury Operations Specialist

Mechanics Bank is seeking a skilled Treasury Operations Specialist to support our team in Irvine. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our small business and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement Treasury Management product and service requests, ensuring accuracy and completion.
  • Process maintenance requests for existing Business Online Banking and Treasury Management services, including risk reviews for ACH and RDC customers.
  • Review Business Online Banking and Treasury Management service requests, ensuring authorization and access to appropriate business banking products and services.
  • Provide support and training to small business and commercial customers for various Treasury Management services, including Business Online Banking, Remote Deposit Capture, online ACH and Wire origination.
  • Collaborate with Retail, Commercial, and other banking staff to resolve operational issues and provide expert knowledge on Treasury Management product features and reports.
  • Monitor and manage multiple email inboxes and request databases for incoming requests and communications.
  • Adhere to Bank's security and audit procedures, as well as industry rules and regulations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all Mechanics Bank's Treasury Services Product offerings, services, and systems.
  • Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) on new initiatives related to Treasury Services products and services, as required.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 3 years of experience in a treasury operational role preferred.
  • General knowledge of Treasury Management products and services, as well as implementation requirements.
  • General knowledge of Federal and State banking regulations pertaining to Online Banking and ACH Operations.
  • Excellent ability to explain processes clearly and understandably.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Skilled in problem resolution and the ability to determine appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient skill in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
