Position Overview

The main duty of a Retail Sales Associate is to implement the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model, ensuring a memorable experience for our customers that encourages their return. Effective execution in these areas will help the associate surpass targeted Sales Per Hour (SPH) and drive company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), all while upholding the highest standards of customer satisfaction as indicated by our feedback surveys.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Focus on training and enhancing sales proficiency processes.
  • Complete all necessary training and demonstrate the ability to meet company expectations effectively.
  • Implement style guide directives by managing all aspects of merchandising, visual presentation, and labeling.
  • Ensure that daily task lists are completed by store teams.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy in accordance with company asset protection standards.
  • Promote proficiency in the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model.
  • Link behaviors from the Guest Engagement model to anticipated sales outcomes.
  • Conduct daily self-assessments and collaborate with leadership to enhance behavioral expectations.
  • Develop a monthly proficiency plan using end-of-month sales reports to identify personal strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Support the execution of style guide directives and daily task lists.
  • Contribute to a store culture that drives positive outcomes aligned with company expectations.
  • Actively engage and assist the team in delighting customers and achieving revenue goals.
  • Utilize all tools in accordance with company standards.
  • Ensure the execution of check-out and check-in processes.
  • Availability to work weekends and most holidays.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. A minimum of 1 year of retail experience in a customer-facing role is preferred, with high-volume experience being advantageous. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is essential for successful job performance.

Compensation and Benefits

The hiring pay range serves as a guideline for reasonable compensation for this position. Pay will be influenced by various factors, including the applicant's education, relevant work experience, skills, and internal equity, as well as geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to adjust this pay range as necessary.

Compensation: $23.00

Team members in Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Centers may qualify for team bonuses based on achieving specific goals and KPIs.
