Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the store's visual appeal. This position encompasses various responsibilities related to customer service, product presentation, and overall store upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and engage every customer as they enter and exit the store.
- Efficiently operate the cash register with accuracy.
- Authorize refunds for other team members within designated limits.
- Assist in training new Sales Representatives.
- Stay informed about promotions and advertisements to effectively address customer inquiries and support product sales.
- Maintain an organized and tidy front-end workspace.
- Support inventory management by assisting with receiving shipments, pricing products, and merchandising.
- Communicate customer feedback and needs to Team Leaders as necessary.
- Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the entire store.
- Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will have:
- A minimum of six months of experience in a retail or service-oriented environment.
- The ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays regularly.
- Strong communication skills.
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with industry terminology and processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to engage well with customers and team members.
Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be able to:
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Push and pull up to 35 pounds.
- Stand for extended periods.
- Bend and twist frequently.
- Grip, reach, and pinch with hands and arms regularly.
- Squat, kneel, balance, and climb ladders occasionally.
- See, hear, and speak effectively.
- Work in a state of alertness and safety.
