Position Overview:

Responsibilities:
Promote our radically simple, all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions, ensuring clients fully understand Pure's comprehensive value proposition

Develop and nurture relationships with clients to demonstrate Pure's value, consistently driving the highest customer satisfaction ratings in the sector

Lead pursuit teams and formulate account strategies to ensure all internal resources are engaged to secure new Pure clients

Drive and oversee a healthy and dynamic sales pipeline to ensure quarterly and annual targets are met or surpassed

Qualifications:
Authenticity and a genuine desire to engage clients and comprehend their business challenges

Thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset; the ability to leverage your customer insights and expertise in technology solutions to position Pure's offerings to address persistent issues

A proactive hunter with proven prospecting abilities, consistently opening doors to new clients and navigating effortlessly between executive discussions and technical environments while passionately advocating for the benefits of a Pure Storage solution

Exceptional interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, capable of establishing relationships easily and deepening them over time

Ability to evaluate, strategize, and actively manage a territory to achieve optimal revenue and efficiency

Expertise in leading a complex sales process involving multiple stakeholders, while fostering collaboration and shared ownership internally and with partners

Consistent history of exceeding targets and generating referenceable business

Passionate about post-sales customer success

8+ years of external sales experience focused on new client acquisition or business development; consistently generating $5-$10M annually in revenues

Experience outside of traditional storage for the past consecutive 5 years is required

Demonstrated sales experience within the life sciences sector, including biotech or pharmaceuticals.

Must be located in the Greater Boston Area

Pay Range:

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
