Position Overview:


TRC is in search of an Enterprise Software Sales Specialist who has a proven track record in acquiring new business, increasing revenue from both new and existing clients, and driving the adoption of our leading-edge software solutions.

This position will involve crafting go-to-market strategies and targeted marketing initiatives for the assigned territory, executing sales efforts with new and existing clients in key markets, establishing channel partner strategies, and nurturing strategic partnerships.

The selected candidate will lead the broader go-to-market team in strategizing, planning, and executing product sales. Candidates should be highly driven and possess strong communication and collaboration skills to thrive in our team-oriented environment.


As an Enterprise Software Sales Specialist at TRC, you will focus on expanding and enhancing customer engagement with Lemur, our GIS-enabled mobility platform.

Successful candidates will showcase a history of success in selling enterprise software solutions and maintain robust relationships within the Energy and Utility sectors.

This role necessitates a minimum of 50% travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Connecting clients with TRC's Lemur Platform to address challenges, enhance efficiencies, and demonstrate substantial Return on Investment (ROI)
  • Cultivating relationships and driving sales initiatives at executive levels within client organizations through direct sales efforts and collaboration with TRC's National Business Development and Sector sales teams.
  • Managing and growing existing accounts by building and nurturing client relationships through personalized engagement
  • Providing accurate forecasts based on realistic assessments while maintaining Salesforce data integrity
  • Achieving or surpassing assigned revenue targets
  • Collaborating with other members of the go-to-market team, including sales engineers, product management, customer success, and partner managers, to understand client needs and effectively communicate the value of our products and services

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales
  • Recent experience selling to U.S.-based Electric Utilities
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently, while also being a valuable team contributor
  • Proven ability to identify and develop new opportunities with prospects and existing clients
  • Experience in consultative sales and encouraging clients to adopt innovative approaches
  • Ownership of the complete sales process from prospecting to invoicing
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales goals and quotas
  • Consistent history of achievement in consultative sales environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
  • Proven negotiation capabilities
  • High technical aptitude; proficient in computer applications such as Word, Excel, and CRM systems
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly motivated and professional, with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation:

Salary Range:
USD $48,000 - $72,862.00 /Yr.
