We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team at Grand Canyon Education, Inc. As an Account Executive, you will play a critical role in promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth in the Houston, TX territory.

Job Description

The Account Executive will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing event/activity plans to build awareness of our online academic programs and drive inquiry generation.
  • Providing exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor and resource for prospective students, helping them navigate the admissions process and achieve their goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred: A degree in a relevant field is preferred, but not required.
  • Outstanding Time Management Skills: In this role, you will need to prioritize competing priorities while traveling.
  • Clear Communication Skills: You must be able to explain complex concepts to anyone and communicate effectively in person, in writing, and on the phone.
  • Self-Motivation and Drive to Succeed: You will be expected to take ownership of your time and truly make a difference in the lives of our students.
  • High Emotional Intelligence: You will need to demonstrate empathy when coaching diverse students and developing partner relationships.
  • A Valid Driver's License, Reliable Transportation, and Flexible Schedule: You will need a clean driving record and ability to use your personal vehicle for extensive travel within your territory.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Estimated Salary:

$75,000 per year, with an earning potential of a six-figure income after 5 years of successful service as an Account Executive/University Development Counselor.
