The Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our US sales team and contribute to the growth of our business. As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in expanding our sales efforts and promoting innovative partnerships with our clients.

Your primary responsibility will be to inspire and guide customers on their data journey, resulting in more collaborative and productive organizations.

You will collaborate closely with business leaders to strategically develop your territory and leverage your passion for technology to aid businesses in realizing their full potential through the strength of Zilliz.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively prospect for new customers via email, social media, cold-calling, and events
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and SDRs to generate sales pipeline
  • Field inbound leads to qualify and create qualified opportunities
  • Use a solution selling approach to help customers identify, quantify, and address their business problems with Zilliz' value proposition
  • Orchestrate and work with teams to provide the optimal customer experience
  • Leverage the MEDDIC sales methodology to manage the sales process
  • Engage existing customers to drive product adoption and identify new growth strategies
  • Successfully negotiate and close sales deals
  • Evangelize the value of Zilliz and key differentiators to help customers quantify the impact to business priorities
  • Consistently deliver an accurate ACV/TCV forecast
What We're Looking For

We're seeking a self-starter with a passion for open-source and AI/ML products, who has 2-5 years of total sales experience in SaaS/PaaS or Big Data companies.

You should have a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas, prior customer relationships with CIOs and executive decision-makers, and experience selling $25-50K ACV deals to AI and hi-tech startups.

Compensation Range: $110,000-$140,000 USD
