About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our US sales team and help drive growth through strategic partnerships with our clients. As an Account Executive, you will play a critical role in inspiring and guiding customers on their data journey, resulting in more collaborative and productive organizations.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through email, social media, cold-calling, and events
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and SDRs to generate sales pipeline and drive revenue growth
  • Qualify and convert inbound leads into qualified opportunities
  • Utilize a solution selling approach to help customers identify, quantify, and address their business problems with Zilliz' value proposition
  • Orchestrate and work with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Apply the MEDDIC sales methodology to manage the sales process and drive results
  • Engage existing customers to drive product adoption and identify new growth strategies
  • Negotiate and close sales deals while evangelizing the value of Zilliz and its key differentiators
  • Deliver accurate ACV/TCV forecasts and consistently meet or exceed sales targets
  • Be an exceptional teammate who encourages and inspires the broader team to deliver results

What We're Looking For

  • A self-motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for open-source and AI/ML products
  • 2-5 years of total sales experience in SaaS/PaaS or Big Data companies, with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Prior experience working in an early-stage company and navigating a fast-growing organization
  • A consistent ability to build and maintain strong relationships with CIOs and executive decision-makers
  • A hunger to deliver exceptional results and drive business growth
