Role Overview

The Supply Chain Operations Leader will oversee teams dedicated to ensuring a seamless flow of materials and developing production schedules for the shop floor. This position is pivotal in assessing potential supply chain challenges, spearheading efforts to address these issues, and ensuring stability in production timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align strategic initiatives between material management and production scheduling.
  • Represent supply chain interests on cross-functional teams.
  • Implement and enhance high-level business tools and processes for continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate existing processes to establish integration metrics for team consolidation.
  • Conduct comprehensive supply chain analyses, including logistics costs and material sourcing.
  • Recommend enhancements based on thorough supply chain evaluations.
  • Lead the integration of significant process changes.
  • Manage large-scale projects related to supply chain modifications.
  • Communicate project progress to all management levels.
  • Develop and present business plans for operations management and supply chain leaders.
  • Identify and resolve high-risk issues through data analysis and solution implementation.
  • Create and execute strategic work plans for supply chain initiatives.
  • Facilitate small to medium-sized teams with clear objectives.
  • Ensure alignment of project goals with broader business objectives.
  • Provide support for area coordinators and management.
  • Hold self and team accountable for achieving business improvement targets.
  • Offer constructive feedback to represent facility interests during transitions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A 4-year degree in Engineering, Business, Technology, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Proficiency in lean methodologies, including pull systems, PDCA, kanbans, value stream mapping, and PFEP.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
