Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of Branch Warehouse, including activities related to Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing, and Inventory Management.
  • Ensure facility upkeep and execute necessary capital projects to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Coach and train team members at assigned facilities on Farmer Brothers' Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Food Safety Policies (GMPs).
  • Schedule and assign employees, follow up on performance, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Ensure accurate completion of daily/weekly inventory cycle counts and annual physical inventory count.
  • Achieve established Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets, driving continuous improvement initiatives for customer service, warehouse efficiency, cost reductions, and waste elimination.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining an optimal facility layout for efficient daily operations.
  • Participate in the recruitment process and ensure proper training and certification of new employees.
  • Foster a productive and safe work environment focused on accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements, while advising management on necessary actions.
