Job Overview

At Dakota Supply Group, we are looking for a Branch Operations Leader to oversee our branch operations. This full-time, salaried role involves managing branch staff and ensuring the branch meets its operational goals while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior management on financial planning and budget management.
  • Set and monitor sales objectives in conjunction with the sales team.
  • Coordinate branch initiatives including training programs and promotional events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers and partners.
  • Work alongside marketing to enhance product visibility and sales performance.
  • Lead product launch efforts in collaboration with sales personnel.
  • Enhance the customer experience by maintaining a professional and inviting branch environment.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Facilitate team meetings to promote unity and shared objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational protocols.
  • Manage local fleet operations in partnership with logistics teams.
  • Optimize inventory management processes.
  • Support human resources in addressing employee-related matters.
  • Oversee credit management for local customers to mitigate financial risks.
  • Lead financial review meetings to discuss branch performance.
  • Identify training needs and develop staff accordingly.
  • Utilize various reporting tools to drive branch growth and efficiency.
  • Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the branch.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in the HVAC or Plumbing industry is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of company operations and interdepartmental relationships.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and resolve issues.
  • Proficient communication and leadership abilities.
  • Effective organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Technical proficiency relevant to the role.
