We are seeking a seasoned Senior Vice President, Business Development and Growth to lead strategic growth initiatives and drive new business for the Wholesale division of Legends Global Merchandise. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategies, identifying key prospects, and building a sustainable pipeline of new business.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the Wholesale division's presence in the market.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including key prospects and potential clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, decision-makers, and industry leaders.
- Develop and present compelling business cases and proposals to secure new business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination of business development efforts.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimum of 10 years of business development and strategic analysis experience, preferably in the sports and entertainment industry.
- Proven track record of developing and closing new account business and meeting sales objectives.
- Industry credibility allowing for quick access to key constituencies.
- Ability to embrace and digest facts and provide insight.
- Strong verbal and presentation skills; able to tell compelling stories and be a persuasive presenter.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to initiate and develop personal and professional relationships in the industry.
- Proven leadership skills used to identify key internal personnel and drive pursuit efforts forward while maintaining the ultimate needs of Legends.
- Developed investigation and research skills to uncover new opportunities for Company growth.
