Key Responsibilities:
Employ various cooking techniques for meats, seafood, vegetables, and other culinary items.

Complete preparation and task lists promptly as directed by the supervisor.

Examine food preparation and service areas to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food-handling standards.

Demonstrate excellent memory skills to prepare multiple dishes simultaneously.


Assess and taste foods to confirm they are cooked properly, utilizing methods such as tasting, smelling, and using thermometers.

Must accurately identify flavors including salty, sweet, burnt, sour, bitter, spicy, and spoiled.

Portion, arrange, and present food, serving patrons efficiently.

Control the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and ranges.

Season and prepare dishes according to established recipes.

Step in for or assist fellow cooks during peak times or emergencies.

Stir or turn foods to ensure even cooking.

Prepare fruits and vegetables by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding.

Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes, using various kitchen tools and equipment.

Perform all tasks associated with any kitchen station including pantry, runner, carver, bakery, prep cook, and line cook.

Follow new recipes and procedures with minimal supervision.

Clean and shut down assigned areas as required.

Qualifications:
Ability to lift heavy items

Ability to stand/walk for the majority of the shift

Proficient in using various kitchen equipment

Capability to manage multiple tasks

Disassemble and clean equipment

General understanding of food safety and sanitation standards

Work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with the entire menu and ability to follow recipes

Deliver consistent and high-quality culinary products

Culinary Associates are required to bring their own knives on the first day of work.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
