The primary responsibilities of the Nutritional Culinary Specialist include:

  • Preparing and cooking nutritious family-style meals for residents in a skilled nursing environment.

  • Executing supervisory duties in alignment with the organization's policies and relevant regulations.
Essential Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills:

  • Prior experience in a culinary role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • One year of experience in institutional food service as a cook is advantageous.
  • A collaborative team player who exemplifies teamwork and a positive work culture.
  • Exhibits patience, tact, a friendly demeanor, and enthusiasm, especially when interacting with residents.
  • Ability to communicate effectively about residents' conditions to supervisors or nursing staff.
