Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Business Expansion to join our team at Hitachi Solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and expansion, focusing on strategic partnerships and sales initiatives.
  2. Build and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Microsoft customer-facing teams, to drive sales and business growth.
  3. Lead Sales Cycles: Lead sales cycles from lead capture to sales closure, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  4. Develop and Manage Sales Plans: Develop and manage sales plans, including account-based marketing activities, to drive sales growth and expansion.
  5. Collaborate with Pre-Sales Engineers: Collaborate with pre-sales engineers and leadership throughout the sales cycle to ensure effective sales execution and customer satisfaction.
  6. Support Marketing Initiatives: Support all marketing team activities, including the communication of and participation in webinars, and in-person events.
  7. Build and Maintain C-Level Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships at the CIO level, driving business growth and expansion through strategic partnerships.

Requirements:

  1. Post-Secondary Degree: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or work experience equivalent.
  2. 5+ Years of Sales Experience: 5+ years of experience in selling strategic technology business applications and solutions.
  3. Prior Sales Experience: Prior successful sales experience selling technical services that leverage both on-prem and Cloud-based technologies.
  4. Microsoft Technology Stack Experience: Preference for candidates that have sold services on the Microsoft technology stack, including Azure, SQL, Machine Learning, IoT, Power BI, and Application Development.
  5. Strong Communication Skills: Strong written and presentation communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  6. Ability to Thrive in a Dynamic Environment: Ability to thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, with a strong team-oriented mindset.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary: USD $120,000 - USD $160,000
  • Bonus Plan: Eligible to participate in the bonus plan, upon satisfying all hiring requirements.
