About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Growth and Expansion. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with our existing customer base, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and substantiate upsell potential within our customer portfolio, focusing on revenue growth in the coming years.
  • Build strong rapport with customers through deep engagement with our Customer Success team.
  • Identify expansion challenges and opportunities for our customers and advocate for change to remove blockers for growth.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, in partnership with our Customer Marketing team, focused on high-value products with strong probabilities of conversion.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with delivery teams to communicate growth opportunities and value propositions effectively.
  • Utilize strategic and consultative selling techniques to position BenchPrep as a trusted advisor in the learning platform space.
Requirements
  • 10-15 years of Sales experience in a SaaS and EdTech environment.
  • Candidates with experience within the Associations or Credentialing space, or those who have sold into those sectors will be greatly prioritized.
  • Experience working with Enterprise level sales in matrixed organizations where decision making is distributed.
  • Self-driven with a proactive mindset to navigate ambiguity and drive results independently.
  • Team-oriented with strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-centric approach with a positive attitude and a knack for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
