KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Engagement
  • Facilitate new bookings and strategically route shipments to optimize service and profitability.
  • Resolve issues collaboratively with clients and vendors, including airlines and delivery agents.
  • Act as a vital communication link for all customer service and documentation inquiries.
  • Oversee freight movement throughout the shipment lifecycle, collaborating closely with carriers and agents.
  • Track shipments from order initiation to delivery, ensuring timely performance.
  • Engage with customers extensively through various communication channels.
  • Assist drivers, agents, and carriers in acquiring essential information.
  • Contribute to team objectives by executing assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Manage a high volume of incoming communications with professionalism.
  • Quickly address logistics service challenges, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Support both new and existing customer accounts to promote business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers through transparent communication.
  • Provide customers with tailored, cost-effective transportation solutions to meet service goals.
  • Prepare and present quotes for clients and vendors.
  • Adhere closely to communication protocols and policies to fulfill customer needs.
Operational Excellence
  • Apply knowledge of unique freight handling and delivery requirements effectively.
  • Ensure high accuracy in order documentation, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Propose enhancements to business processes and procedures as needed.
  • Conduct data analysis using spreadsheets to inform decision-making.
  • Review vendor invoices flagged by the accounting team for accuracy.
