Position Overview:
As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering quality healthcare services. This position involves providing clinical assistance, managing administrative responsibilities, and ensuring comprehensive support in a healthcare environment under the guidance of licensed healthcare professionals. Your contributions will be essential in promoting patient health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver effective clinical support while ensuring seamless communication with team members, healthcare providers, and patients.
  • Assist in gathering data that reflects the physical, psychological, social, and cultural aspects of patients in accordance with established standards.
  • Conduct standardized rooming procedures and perform clinical intake, data collection, and documentation.
  • Provide clinical assistance during examinations and procedures, including preparing laboratory specimens and performing various tests.
  • Organize and prioritize daily tasks to meet patient needs and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Implement age-appropriate interventions as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Support patient and family education based on identified health needs and conditions.
  • Ensure a safe environment and the secure delivery of care.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for clinical operations.
  • Document and process charges for clinical services rendered during patient visits.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including drafting correspondence, scheduling, and managing clinic preparations.
  • Foster teamwork in patient care delivery, recognizing the significance of timely responses.
  • Commit to personal and professional development in alignment with departmental policies.
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: No prior experience required.
  • Licensure: Certification as a Medical Assistant from a recognized national association and current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Physical Requirements:
This role requires prolonged standing, frequent bending, and the ability to lift and move items as necessary. Exposure to various healthcare-related environments is expected.
