As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care, health education, and ensuring a secure environment for patients in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, or home care as directed by healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist registered nurses and physicians by gathering essential data related to the physical, psychological, social, and cultural aspects of patients, adhering to established practice standards and institutional policies.
  • Effectively organize and prioritize patient care tasks, taking into account the needs of patients and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Implement age-appropriate interventions tailored to individual patient requirements as directed by the registered nurse or physician.
  • Ensure smooth patient flow throughout the clinical experience.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of patient and family education plans based on identified health needs and the patient's condition and age.
  • Maintain a safe environment and guarantee the secure delivery of care.
  • Oversee the management of supplies and equipment.
  • Perform administrative support tasks as required.
  • Exhibit teamwork in the provision of patient care.
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Compensation: Position Compensation Range: $28.47 Hourly

Minimum Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a Medical Assistant Program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES, or Military Medical Specialist with twenty-four months of experience and eligibility for certification or registration.
  • Experience: Preferred, but not required.
  • Licensure: Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required upon hire. Current Medical Assistant Certification from a recognized national professional association must be obtained within six months of hire.

Physical Requirements: The role necessitates prolonged standing, frequent bending, stooping, and traveling. Ability to lift, push, or pull weight as needed. Exposure to chemicals, blood/body fluids, and infectious diseases may occur.
