Job Title: Certified Clinical Support Specialist

  • Accountable for delivering patient assistance, health education, and ensuring a secure environment for individuals in various healthcare contexts.
  • Supports the registered nurse and/or physician in gathering information on patients' physical, emotional, social, and cultural aspects in accordance with established practice standards.
  • Coordinates and prioritizes patient care tasks in partnership with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Executes age-appropriate interventions tailored to individual patient requirements as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Facilitates smooth patient flow throughout the clinical experience.
  • Creates and implements educational plans for patients and families customized to their health learning needs.
  • Guarantees a secure environment and the safe provision of care.
  • Oversees inventory, equipment, and performs administrative support tasks.
  • Exhibits collaboration in delivering patient care.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Position Compensation Range: $28.47 Hourly

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: None required.

Licensure: Medical Assistant Training and current Certification through a recognized national professional association.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This role necessitates standing for extended periods, bending, stooping, and traveling. Proficient communication, auditory, and visual skills are essential; Attention to detail is crucial; Ability to lift/push/pull weight is required. Potential exposure to chemicals, blood/body fluids, and infectious diseases may occur.
