Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Research Analyst to support our team at Capstone Research Corporation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations research and analysis, with experience in facilitating, engineering, and implementing network design and modernization projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface Management: Monitor and track established System of Systems (SoS) interface management control processes and products to document interface standards, controlling parameters, and interface agreements.
  • Technical Drawing Modification: Modify existing technical drawings that document IT architectures and related specifications and requirements for afloat, ashore, and aloft platforms.
  • Enterprise Architecture Support: Provide functional knowledge and technical support of developing enterprise architecture to support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to the Chief Engineer.
  • System Engineering Management: Provide operations and maintenance of all Systems Engineering Technical Management processes across the full range of the Naval Operational Architecture (NOA) programs and projects.
  • System Operations and Administration: Monitor, maintain, enhance, and manage all system (software/hardware/network/configuration and data management) operations and system administration, integration, and data transfer for modeling and simulation tools, architecture tools, and data repositories within the Naval Integrated Modeling Environment (IME).
  • Integration Planning and Engineering: Plan and engineer for future integration events with Naval Labs (CONUS), Joint and Multi-National Partners.
  • Meeting Participation and Engineering Events: Actively participate in meetings, support engineering events, provide innovative ideas/solutions, certification related functions, and complete task-rated deliverables as they pertain to the continued development, growth, and use of the Information Warfare (SoS) Architecture configuration.
  • Distributed Network Engineering: Work with the Joint LVC labs to engineer a distributed persistent network that can support Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) efforts in a more controlled/learning environment but be able to expand into the operational environment.
Requirements
  • Complex System Integration: Demonstrated ability to plan and execute complex system of systems integration efforts from initial concept definition through integration and test, incorporating complex threat scenarios.
  • DoD Operations Knowledge: Experience with and in-depth knowledge of DoD operations, concepts, and technologies.
  • Technical Leadership: Ability to grow technical efforts and take on task leadership for the Company.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: Good problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel 6-12 trips per year with multiple destinations.
  • Security Clearance: Top Secret Security Clearance - TS/SCI Preferred.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience plus 10 years of relative experience.
  • Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen.
