Position: Senior Operations Research Scientist

Location: Remote

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's or PhD in a quantitative field such as Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one Object-Oriented programming language (e.g., C++, Java).
  • OR Expertise: In-depth knowledge in at least one area of Operations Research, including but not limited to optimization, simulation, or statistics.
  • Data Management: Hands-on experience with data extraction, cleaning, and analysis.
  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability for independent learning, logical reasoning, problem identification, and resolution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical professional setting.
  • At least 2 years of experience in developing and implementing large-scale optimization models utilizing Mixed Integer Programming (MIP) and heuristics.
  • 2+ years of experience with Java programming.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and parallel processing for scaling model development and deployment.
