Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Senior Training Operations Manager to support our Mission Command (MC) training teams at the Fort Bliss, TX Mission Training Complex (MTC). The ideal candidate will act as a recognized technical expert in base labor category description and function as an individual contributor in at least one of the six Army Warfighting Functions (WfF).
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize expertise and experience in staff training best practices, industry requirements, and information technology disciplines to develop technical and training solutions in support of Army mission command training.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute unit collective training at echelons ranging from Battalion to Corps.
- Assist unit leadership in planning collective training that will meet their training objectives; identify any gaps (resource, training, equipment, etc.) and work with the management team to ensure they are filled prior to execution of training.
- Provide operational, intelligence, and administrative planning support necessary to meet the needs of the task order by providing capability briefings and demonstrations of various training systems and simulation capabilities for Mission Command Training audience, Sr. Leaders, and Government-designated officials.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with Military training and training support.
- Requires at least eight years' related experience in instructional development.
- Have served as an Operations Sergeant Major or Operations Sergeant in a Battalion, Brigade, Division, or Corps command post; Preferred completed Army Battle Staff Course.
- Requires advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in technology-based training as well as the use and application of off-the-shelf tools and associated equipment and systems.
- Be qualified to operate at least two Army MCIS.
- Security Clearance: Secret required to start.
