Job Summary
The Advanced Imaging Research Center is on the lookout for a skilled Research Scientist to contribute to cutting-edge projects within the Liu Lab. The successful candidate will possess a Ph.D. and demonstrate proficiency in advanced MRI method development. Key competencies include:
  • In-depth knowledge of MRI physics
  • Sequence programming expertise
  • Experience conducting MRI experiments with human subjects
  • Data analysis and research publication skills

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following educational and experience criteria:
  • Ph.D. degree with relevant coursework and a minimum of five years of research experience, including at least two years at a Senior Research Associate level or equivalent.
  • Master's degree with relevant coursework and seven years of research experience, including three years at a Senior Research Associate level or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree with relevant coursework and nine years of research experience, including four years at a Senior Research Associate level or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities
The Research Scientist will be responsible for:
  • Planning, organizing, and directing scientific or medical research projects.
  • Selecting and mentoring key research personnel.
  • Establishing specific goals and objectives for research initiatives.
  • Reviewing and analyzing research data to refine methodologies.
  • Compiling and presenting research findings to supervisors.
  • Assisting in the preparation of research papers and publications.
  • Designing and adapting experimental equipment to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Training laboratory personnel in proper techniques and safety protocols.
