Our Global Trade Compliance team is seeking a forward-thinking, analytical professional with a global perspective to join our ranks as a Senior Trade Compliance Analyst. This role collaborates with essential stakeholders to deliver actionable insights on export/import regulations, ensuring adherence to U.S. laws while facilitating successful international operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and apply export/import regulations to determine necessary actions.
  • Classify Cessna products and technologies, document classification assessments, and address ad hoc export compliance inquiries.
  • Act as the primary liaison for a program, possessing decision-making authority and developing solutions for complex challenges affecting functional objectives.
  • Prepare and manage export and import authorization applications, including the approval of relevant transactions.
  • Review company materials for export compliance, conduct sanctioned party list screenings, and screen visitors.
  • Enhance Cessna's trade compliance program by contributing to the development of policies, procedures, and automation initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment and engage actively with internal and external stakeholders; perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Direct Commercial Sales (DCS), and other specialized contracting scenarios.
  • Proficient in researching, interpreting, and applying the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
  • Demonstrated capability to develop and implement advanced export/import control strategies.
  • Familiarity with SAP, GTS, ENOVIA, CATIA, DECCS, SNAP-R, OCR EASE, Business Objects, Power BI, and SharePoint.
  • Proven ability to build effective teams to tackle complex issues across various departments and levels.
  • Experience in identifying training needs and creating and delivering training programs to address knowledge gaps.

Essential Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (global trade compliance experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
  • 5+ years of experience in a business, regulatory, or technical field.
  • Highly organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to think creatively and analytically in a problem-solving context.
  • Excellent judgment and discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Eligibility to obtain at least a Secret security clearance is required.
