Position Summary

This role is integral to the support of all North American truck manufacturing facilities, focusing on the creation of analytical tools and dashboards aimed at enhancing and optimizing North American Materials operations. The team is engaged in a diverse array of impactful projects that prioritize solutions for systems and reporting alignment across production facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and address daily data extraction processes to facilitate North American Materials reporting.
  • Extract, cleanse, merge, transform, and compile data from a variety of sources, including relational databases, flat files, NoSQL databases, and unstructured data.
  • Design and implement data visualization models and dashboards to support data initiatives utilizing tools such as MS SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Identify and develop process enhancements to boost the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of operations.
  • Deliver precise, relevant, and insightful ad-hoc analyses to management to aid in strategic and tactical decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field is required.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Access is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with SQL and/or Snowflake is required.
  • Experience in data visualization tools (Tableau and/or Power BI) is necessary.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Six Sigma experience is advantageous.
  • Must demonstrate a high level of motivation, self-direction, and creativity, with a keen attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a multi-functional business environment and influence the adoption of innovative ideas.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, including active listening and problem-solving under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% as required.
