Role Summary:
The Student-Athlete Academic Center at the University of North Texas is seeking dedicated academic support specialists for the academic year.
Academic Support Specialists will mentor student-athletes in time management, organizational techniques, and study skills development. Additionally, they will facilitate supplemental instruction tailored for student-athletes. All specialists will adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity.We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in STEM fields, Accounting/Finance, Marketing, Business, Psychology, History, English, and Political Science.
Professional development opportunities will be available to enhance skills and knowledge.
Essential Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
